I write the memos that decide deals — I'll tell you what yours is missing

About me

Founders, the job comes down to two things: build something that truly solves a problem, then raise the right capital to scale it, in that order, never reversed. Everything else is noise. The second one is where most good companies stall, and it's where I can actually help. I'm an associate at YXS Capital, a top-1% early-stage fund, where I run due diligence end-to-end, from first look to the final memo that goes to our Investment Committee. In other words, I spend my days deciding what makes a deal a yes or a no. Before VC I was on your side of the table: I helped raise close to $12M for startups, mentored founders through a European accelerator, and judged pitch competitions at global events. So I know both how the money gets raised and how it gets evaluated. Book me if you want blunt, specific feedback on your raise, deck, data room, valuation, or investor targeting from someone who reads these for a living. You'll leave knowing exactly what an investor will push on. What I actually offer is narrow on purpose: the investor's-eye view on your raise. Not capital, not empty encouragement, the honest read you can't get from other founders, while you can still act on it. What I can help with: ✅ Your fundraising strategy; who to target, in what order, and how to frame it ✅ Pitch decks that survive an investor's first three minutes ✅ Data room prep; before missing pieces stall your diligence ✅ Valuation and round structure; how your ask really gets assessed ✅ Decoding investor feedback; what a "maybe" actually means I do this because watching a genuinely good company get overlooked for fixable reasons is painful, and fixing that before the meeting is the highest-leverage hour a founder can spend. Let’s make your startup VC-ready and investor-aligned. Book a 1:1 to get strategic guidance. I can offer guidance in English 🇬🇧, French 🇫🇷, and Italian 🇮🇹.
