What do you need to find out?

Bring what you know and what you are unsure about.

  1. Is this a problem people will pay to solve?

Work through what you have heard in discovery conversations. Identify the assumptions that still need evidence.

  2. What belongs in the first version?

You have more ideas than time. Discuss the smallest useful product that would let you test the need.

  3. What does our early traction tell us?

Sign-ups, pilots or paying buyers. Talk through which signals matter and what you still need to learn.

Separate interest from evidence of demand

A call cannot certify product-market fit. It can help you make your next product decision with better evidence.

  • Interest is an early signal

A positive conversation or a sign-up is something to investigate. A paid pilot, repeated use and a renewal tell you different things.

  • Bring the signals you have

Interview notes, a prototype, payment or pilot evidence. Explain who they came from and what people actually did.

  • Give your next test a clear question

Will someone pay for the core task? Do they come back? Discuss the smallest test that could change your decision.

What changed after one product call

“He pushed me to narrow the product around one economic buyer, one value-chain position, and one clear 0-to-1 use case rather than trying to solve everything at once.”

Frequently asked. Honestly answered.

Do I need a working product?

No. If you are still exploring an idea, bring the problem, intended buyer and what you have learned so far. Choose an expert who covers discovery or early product decisions.

What is the difference between validation and product-market fit?

Validation tests particular assumptions, such as whether a problem matters or someone will pay. Product-market fit concerns whether a product consistently meets demand in a particular market. One positive conversation or sale does not settle it.

Can an expert tell me whether I have product-market fit?

An expert can challenge your interpretation of the evidence and suggest what to investigate. A call is not a certification or a guarantee that the product will succeed.

Will I receive a written report or a product roadmap?

The booking is for a call. Check the expert’s offer and agree any additional deliverables separately.
