Most founders don’t have a fundraising problem, but rather a positioning problem. They’re either telling the wrong story, or telling the right story in the wrong way. I work with founders raising pre-seed through Series A, helping them fix what’s actually getting in the way of closing. I’ve spent the past decade investing in early-stage companies and venture funds, so I see how decisions actually get made, not how people think they do. As an LP, I’ve invested in marquee funds like Seven Seven Six (Alexis Ohanian), WndrCo (Jeffrey Katzenberg), and the all-women led team at f7 Ventures (now Perplexity F7). I also maintain a network of 1,500+ funds, which gives me a clear view of who’s active, what they’re looking for, and where founders tend to get it wrong. I guest lecture at University of Oxford Saïd Business School and sit on LP selection committees, and I’ve worked with founders and fund managers through the full fundraising process.
