Jae W. Lee

I’m a technology founder, AI solution architect, and product engineering leader with more than 20 years building software products, platforms, and engineering teams across Asia, the Middle East, and the United States. I work on applied AI, AI agents, and AI native systems. I design and build with LLMs, RAG, Model Context Protocol, agent setup, evaluation, enterprise integrations, local and cloud AI infrastructure, and secure AI application design. I stay hands on from early prototypes and API design through full stack development, security, deployment, and production planning. I’ve shipped products across developer and student communities, travel tech, healthcare, supply chain, and AI inference platforms that provide LLM as a service. Earlier roles include leading more than 70 engineers across 8 countries at Quincus on platforms handling about 800 million API calls per month; leading engineering at RingMD for a telemedicine platform in Singapore’s Ministry of Health telemedicine regulatory sandbox and India’s Common Services Centre network; and, as Co-Founder and CEO of Kempus, securing multimillion dollar funding and growing a student platform to 33 U.S. universities. I serve as a Teaching mentor at Stanford University for students learning Python and AI, and I mentor founders through Founder Institute, Wavesparks, Tech Ranch, Hubble, and other startup communities. I’ve spoken at SXSW, Horasis, cloud and technology conferences, and universities, contributed to Forbes Technology Council, and written two Python programming books.
