Jae W. Lee

Jae is a technology founder, AI architect, product engineering leader, and startup mentor with more than 20 years of experience building software products, platforms, and engineering teams across Asia, the Middle East, and the United States. His work today focuses on applied AI, AI agents, and AI systems. He advises and builds across LLMs, RAG, Model Context Protocol, agent orchestration, evaluation, enterprise integrations, and local and cloud AI infrastructure. He remains hands on from early prototypes and API design through full stack development, security, deployment, and production planning. Jae currently works as an independent AI consultant, helping founders, executives, and operators shape practical AI solutions for enterprise and public sector use cases. He also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Antler in Riyadh, where he co-founded FMInsight, an AI agent platform for facility management in the GCC. His advisory work is grounded in delivery experience. Jae has led more than 70 engineers across 8 countries, worked on platforms handling about 800 million API calls per month, raised $3 million in seed funding as a founder, led engineering in regulated telemedicine, and built AI agent, RAG, MCP, memory, browser automation, and AI SaaS systems. He has also mentored founders through Founder Institute, Wavesparks, Tech Ranch, ACE.SG, Hubble, and other startup programs.
