Growing up in Harlem, I never imagined I'd become a product designer—I didn't even know what that was until after college. In 2015, I taught myself design, learned on the job, and leaned heavily on mentors who believed in me when I was still building my confidence. Today, I'm still learning (our industry moves at lightning speed), but I've discovered something powerful: all you need is the capacity to learn and genuinely care about people. I'm a philosopher at heart with an MBA mind. I love understanding the nuances of our humanity and how technology shapes our world. As a true empath, I take seriously the silent power of design—its ability to include or exclude, to empower or alienate. Every pixel, every interaction, every decision carries weight, especially when building AI-driven experiences.
