Jessica Richter
Founder & CEO at Richter Advisory Collective
I specialize in
“I connect cross-functional insight to remove blind spots & accelerate decisions”
Background & Highlights
I’m a strategic MedTech leader with over 20 years of experience across the full post-engineering product lifecycle — from regulatory, clinical, and evidence-generation strategy to commercialization and operations. I’m known for simplifying complexity, aligning teams around execution, and helping leaders move forward with clarity and confidence. As the Founder of Richter Advisory Collective, I partner with MedTech innovators as a trusted thought partner, sounding board, and force multiplier for leadership teams. I help founders ask better questions, make smarter decisions, and accelerate progress by combining deep industry expertise, commercial judgment, and a strong global network — all with the goal of getting meaningful solutions to patients faster. Previously, I served as Executive Vice President & General Manager at Veranex, where I led a 400+ person global Contract Research Organization spanning regulatory, quality, clinical, and commercial programs. Earlier in my career, I held leadership roles at Medtronic, Covidien, Given Imaging, and BD, where I built deep expertise in commercialization, physician engagement, patient advocacy, and operational transformation. My experience spans a wide range of MedTech domains, including SaMD, surgical innovation, oncology, aesthetics, cardiology, women’s health, pediatrics, and gastroenterology. Across each of these areas, my focus has remained the same: translating strategy into execution and helping teams navigate complexity without losing momentum. I’m deeply committed to advancing the MedTech ecosystem. I serve on the boards of MedtechWOMEN and UCLA’s Technology Development Group, and I mentor early-stage companies through programs including MedTech Innovator, Stanford Biodesign, UC Berkeley’s MTM, and UCLA Biodesign. Outside of work, I’m a proud UC Berkeley alum (Go Bears!) who enjoys traveling, hiking, exploring new cuisines, spending time with family and friends, and supporting animal welfare causes.
