Lisa Sutton Gunderson

I’m a real estate investor, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist with a background in law and more than a decade of building businesses across real estate, food & beverage, shipping, retail, and venture capital. I started my career in business bankruptcy and litigation at a top Las Vegas law firm, then transitioned into entrepreneurship and built multiple 6-, 7-, and 8-figure companies. That experience taught me how to evaluate risk, structure opportunities, and build businesses with a focus on long-term value. Today, I’m a General Partner at The Veteran Fund, where I invest in veteran-led companies developing critical technologies with applications aligned with America’s strategic priorities. I also own a Las Vegas real estate brokerage and serve on boards including YPO and the Nevada Policy Research Institute. I enjoy helping entrepreneurs think through fundraising, business strategy, real estate, deal structure, and the practical realities of building and scaling a company.
