I'm a healthcare-focused VC investor and Strategic/Venture Partner at VU Venture Partners, a multi-stage firm backing high-impact healthcare and technology companies globally. I source, diligence, and support Pre-Seed through Series B investments, focusing on companies that pair the opportunity to change the standard of care with scalable business models. Working closely with the General Partners, I contribute directly to Partner Meetings, Investment Committee discussions, and final investment decisions, supporting execution end to end, from initial evaluation through follow-on strategy, including clinical and operational diligence, market assessment, risk analysis, and founder support. I currently serve as a Board Observer for Paralos. My perspective is grounded in deep clinical, academic, and administrative experience. As a vascular and endovascular surgeon, I led funded basic science and clinical research programs, held division- and department-level leadership roles, and served as Founding Program Director of an ACGME-accredited Surgery Residency Program. That firsthand experience with healthcare systems, regulatory frameworks, reimbursement dynamics, and workforce training lets me rigorously evaluate clinical validity, provider workflow integration, reimbursement pathways, and real-world adoption—the drivers of durable value creation in healthcare.
