Chief Communications Officer | Executive Communications Expert
I specialize in
“I help executives build brands and leverage communications to drive growth”
Background & Highlights
I’ve spent the past four years at the Tokyo headquarters of Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems, where I became the company’s first Chief Communications Officer and first inbound international assignee. Working at the center of a traditional Japanese industrial organization has profoundly shaped how I think about alignment, trust, and decision-making in a global business. I lead multinational teams responsible for brand, public relations, digital and social media, executive communications, reputation and crisis communications, and internal communications for 9,500 employees across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific. At its core, my work is about connecting business strategy to visible impact, ensuring corporate actions are clearly understood, aligned internally, and trusted by stakeholders worldwide. In a global company, reputation is defined by how leaders make decisions under pressure and how clearly those decisions are communicated. I partner closely with our CEO and executive leadership on enterprise narrative, transformation initiatives, and risk, including crisis readiness and geopolitical issues. As a member of the Page Society, I believe trust is built through consistency between what a company says and what it does. Building a global communications function within a new cultural context has been challenging, humbling and deeply rewarding.
